How do I create a Profile?

Your profile is made up of a number of different sections. We hope that you will spend a little time and fill in as much as possible. Try to provide an overview of who you are, your lifestyle and what you are looking for in a relationship. Why wait? Create your profile today

How do I update my Profile?

To update your profile, simply go to 'My Account' and scroll down to the 'Profile' section, you can then select the area you would like to update. You can see how other people view your profile if you click on "View my profile".

How do I change gender?

If you registered the profile with the wrong membership type, please contact us with a request for us to alter it for you. Find 'Contact us' link at the bottom of the page, follow to the option "How do I amend my profile information?", pick "Gender" and finally choose the correct gender from the drop down menu.

How can I be more successful in Online Dating?

There is no secret in being successful in your Online Dating - you only need to be yourself. Be active, comment on other members' profiles and send them mails, chat with others and rate profiles. We provide a wide range of features allowing you to have as many contacts as you can handle. Uploading a photo increases your chances of receiving an answer by 30-40 times. If you upload more than one photo you are even more likely to attract somebody's attention.

Why was my Profile blocked?

If you cannot login using your screenname and password, there may be two reasons for it. Perhaps you asked suspend-usa@upforit.com to remove it. You can still restore your profile with us within a year of it being hidden. Another reason for blocking are customers' complaints - they may have considered your use of the site as unacceptable or you made illegal advertisements. Our Customer Service always checks members' complaints of this kind. If you are certain, however, that none of these explanationss is relevant to you then please contact us to find out the reason.

How do I upload my Photos?

You can easily upload images in the following formats, on Upforit: jpeg, gif, tiff, bmp. We accept a maximum of 10 photos in your profile and a maximum of 8M per photo. We check every photo before it is published and will not post photos of children or photos of clipart or screensavers. Click here to upload your photos today!

Can I put up Photos that only my friends can see?

You can post up to 10 photos with Upforit. The first one cannot be set as friends only, and should be a photo of you. Pictures 2-10 can be set as friends only - and you choose who you list as a friend. You need to upload your photo first, then select 'for friends only' so that the words '"for friends only" appear under the heading for that photo.

How do I remove my Photos?

If for some reason you want to remove your photos simply replace them in "my photos" in "my account" section.

How do I change my Photos?

You can change your photos at any time by simply uploading new ones. At the moment this service is free, but we do process all photos manually, so please do not treat the site as a free photo-album! If too many members change their photos as the site grows we may introduce a charge, or allow photos to be changed once per renewal. Once you have updated new photos please make sure you clear your computer's cache. Otherwise, you may find that your old photographs are displayed...even though the rest of the members are seeing the new photos you have loaded. This can be done in Internet Explorer from Tools -> Internet Options -> Delete Temporary Files. It normally takes about a day to process your photos. We will mail you to let you know that we have received them and then again once they are loaded.

Why was my Photo(s) denied?

Profiles with a photo get much more attention than incomplete profiles, so it's important to know the reasons why they can be denied. First of all, we don't accept clipart, graphics, drawings and landscape photos as a profile photo. Children's photos are unacceptable as well as photos of animals and acts of violence. One of the most common situationss is uploading a female photo for a male profile and vice versa. If you indicated the wrong gender during the registration process, please don't try to upload a photo as it will be declined. All you need to do is amend the gender of your profile by going to 'Contact Us' at the bottom of the page, then select 'How do I amend my profile', then select 'Gender' from the dropdown menu and finally select the correct gender.

How long does it take to have my Profile/Photo(s) approved?

Usually 15-20 minutes is enough to approve your photo. Our Approval team works 24 hours a day to ensure that you don't need to wait and lose the potential contacts because of the lack of a profile photo.
