Bad Teacher and Vanilla Sky: Mission Impossible

Some time ago there were rumors speculating about Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz being engaged into a passionate romance. Thanks to E! Online and its “insiders” people have been bandying about this scoop for months.

However, it has been false right from the start. The two are just friends without any “new level” in their relationships. E! Online played a dirty trick and provided the audience with a completely unchecked guesswork.

“It’s false,” tells Tom’s official representative. "They are friends." Indeed, even given the fact that Tom has been recently divorced, Cruise and the star of Bad Teacher maintain close and pretty much intimate relationships as… friends.

As a matter of fact, the whole story started on the Oprah Winfrey Show in 2010 with Cameron’s following words: “That's what you know you're getting when you're working with Tom. You know that you're getting someone who is dedicated to bringing the best product forward possible, and to do that, you have to be engaged in the process.”

Can you find any hint about them being a couple? No. Can you find any allusion that they are in love? No. However, “acrobats” of E! Online somehow did. It seems like in the nearest future someone’s going to apologize for releasing false insights!
